Labels link with London College of Fashion for sustainable push


evening standard - mi apparelLuxury clothing labels will have access to the London College of Fashion’s most innovative green champions as part of a new tie-up as the industry looks to become more sustainable. 

Common Objective is an online business network that allows brands to connect with ethical suppliers, buyers, and experts. It said on Friday that it has agreed on a partnership with the college, where the famous school’s 6000 staff and students will create profiles. 

Representatives from firms such as Vivienne Westwood and Gucci’s parent Kering, which are signed up to Common Objective, will have direct access to new talent and innovative ideas.
